COAP 2026 Round 6 offers are now live on the official portal. Candidates must choose Accept and Freeze or Reject by June 17, 2026 at 9 AM. The Retain and Wait option is not available from this decisive round.
The Common Offer Acceptance Portal (COAP) 2026 has released Round 6 offers for Master of Technology (M.Tech), MS (by Research), and PhD admissions at the Indian Institutes of Technology (IITs). Candidates can view their offers on the official portal at coap2026.iitr.ac.in.
The offer window opened on June 13, 2026, at 10:00 AM. Candidates must submit their decision by June 17, 2026, at 9:00 AM. This is the second decisive round of the 2026 cycle.
From Round 5 onward, the Retain and Wait option has been removed. Only two choices remain on the portal: Accept and Freeze or Reject. A candidate who fails to respond within the deadline forfeits the offer.

IISc Bengaluru exited the portal after Round 5. Rounds 6 through 10 will involve only the 23 IITs.

Candidates can submit their Round 6 decision in a few simple steps. The process is fully online and free of cost at this stage.
- Visit the official COAP portal at coap2026.iitr.ac.in.
- Log in using the registered GATE enrolment ID and password.
- Open the My Offers tab to view all active offers.
- Compare the institute, programme, and specialisation for each offer.
- Select either Accept and Freeze or Reject for every offer shown.
- Save and confirm the decision before 9:00 AM on June 17, 2026.
