About the MBA IEV Programme

The MBA IEV is a two-year full-time programme. It is designed for students who want to build new ventures or lead innovation projects. The curriculum blends core management subjects with start-up-oriented coursework. At DTU, it is delivered through the University School of Management and Entrepreneurship (USME). At NSUT, it is run by the Innovation, Entrepreneurship and Venture Development Department.

Who Can Apply for CMAC 2026 MBA IEV?

Applicants must hold a recognised Bachelor's degree. The standard requirement under CMAC is a minimum of 60 percent marks in the qualifying degree. A relaxation applies to candidates in reserved categories as per government norms.

Selection is based on a valid national management entrance score. Candidates are typically considered on the basis of their CAT or MAT scorecard. Final-year graduation students may also apply, subject to producing proof of completion at the time of admission.

How to Apply for the CMAC 2026 MBA IEV Programme?

The application is filed once through the CMAC portal for both DTU and NSUT. Candidates do not need to submit a separate form to each university. The steps are listed below:

  • Visit the official CMAC portal at cmacadmissions.com.
  • Click on the new registration link and create an account.
  • Log in and fill the application form with personal and academic details.
  • Enter the valid CAT or MAT score and roll number.
  • Upload scanned copies of the required documents.
  • Pay the application fee using the online payment options.
  • Submit the form and download a copy for future reference.

What Happens After the Application Window Closes?

CMAC will release a merit list based on the entrance exam percentile. Shortlisted candidates are called for a Personal Interview (PI) round. The final composite score is calculated using 70 percent weightage to the entrance exam and 30 percent weightage to the interview. Seat allotment is then carried out through online counselling.

Why This Matters

CMAC runs a unified admission process for DTU, NSUT and IGDTUW. One application gives candidates a shot at multiple state-run MBA programmes in Delhi. The IEV stream stands apart for its focus on building start-ups, not just managing existing firms.

Action Plan for Candidates

  1. Open the official CMAC portal at cmacadmissions.com and register.
  2. Confirm your eligibility against the percentage and degree criteria.
  3. Keep your CAT or MAT scorecard and roll number ready.
  4. Scan your photograph, signature and academic certificates in advance.
  5. Pay the application fee and submit the form before July 8, 2026.
Keep an Eye On

Watch the CMAC portal for the merit list release and the Personal Interview schedule after the July 8 deadline. Counselling and seat allotment notices for DTU and NSUT will follow soon after.
