The CLAT 2026 registration date has been extended. The last date to apply is November 7, 2025.

The Consortium of National Law Universities (CNLUs) has announced an extension of the registration deadline for CLAT 2026. Candidates applying for undergraduate and postgraduate law programmes will now have until 11:59 PM on 7 November 2025 to submit their online application forms via the official website consortiumofnlus.ac.in.
Key Summary
CLAT 2026 is scheduled to be conducted on Sunday, 7 December 2025, from 2 PM to 4 PM in the offline (pen-and-paper) mode.
This revision comes after the earlier deadline of 31 October 2025, and is believed to be in response to a demand from students and coaching institutes for additional time, as well as requests to reconsider the application fee structure.

The extension provides a helpful opportunity for candidates who were finalising documentation or who were awaiting certain milestones (such as 12th class results) to complete the form. Additionally, the extra time may assist in reducing last-minute technical glitches and enable better preparation for subsequent stages like admit card download and exam readiness.
