CLAT 2025: Tips for Preparation

The road to CLAT is as much a matter of strategy as it is about knowledge. Some indispensable tips for the candidates preparing for CLAT 2025 are as follows:

Consistency: Success comes not overnight but as a result of steady, consistent preparation. It's not just about studying hard at the last minute, but you would need time to generate a well-established foundation, practice in many subjects, and consequently, know your weak points.

Mock Tests: Use to practise mock tests as much as you can. These will get you familiar with the pattern of your exams and also allow you to work on time management as well as assess how prepared you are. Go through every test carefully, for every mistake is a lesson learned.

Reading Comprehension: Since CLAT follows a pattern that has mostly reading comprehension-based questions, concentrate on your reading speed and comprehension. The newspapers, articles, and legal journals are also going to keep you abreast of current affairs, one of the most critical sections of the exam.

Legal aptitude: Checking your knowledge of various legal principles and how to apply them, that too in hypothetical situations. Merely memorising the rules doesn't suffice; rather learn how to apply them. This gives an edge over a mere rote-learner.

Speed with accuracy: CLAT is a race against time but speed without accuracy is of no use. Practice solving questions fast but not at the cost of the correct answer.
