CNLU has released some important Exam Day guidelines for the CLAT 2025 Exam. The examination is scheduled to take place on December 1, 2024.
The Consortium of National Law Universities (CNLU) has issued comprehensive guidelines for the CLAT 2025 examination, which is scheduled to be held on December 1, 2024. Aspirants must strictly adhere to these instructions to ensure a smooth examination process.
Important Details for CLAT 2025:
- Exam Date and Time:
- The exam will begin on December 1, 2024, at 2:00 PM and conclude at 4:00 PM (2 hours).
- For PwD/SAP candidates, the test duration is extended to 2 hours and 40 minutes, ending at 4:40 PM.
- Reporting Time:
- Candidates are allowed to enter the test centre from 1:00 PM.
- Entry into the test hall/classroom closes at 2:15 PM.
- All candidates must be seated at their respective desks by 1:30 PM.
- Admit Card and Documents Required:
- CLAT 2025 Admit Card: Mandatory to carry a printed copy.
- Valid Government ID Proof: For identity verification.
- PwD/SAP candidates must bring their original Disability Certificate.

Bell Timings During CLAT 2025 Exam:
The examination schedule will be followed as per the bell timings to avoid confusion:
- 1:30 PM: Long bell for entry into the test hall.
- 1:50 PM: Short bell for distributing sealed question booklets and reading instructions.
- 2:00 PM: Long bell indicating the start of the exam.
- 3:00 PM: Short bell marking 30 minutes into the test.
- 3:30 PM: Short bell marking 1.5 hours of the test.
- 3:50 PM: Short warning bell indicating 10 minutes left.
- 4:00 PM: Long bell marking the end of the test.
Permitted Items Inside the Exam Hall:
- Black or Blue Ballpoint Pens.
- Transparent Water Bottle.
- Analogue Watch.
- CLAT Admit Card and ID Proof.
Prohibited Items for CLAT Exam:
- Bags, electronic gadgets, calculators, digital watches, and any other items not explicitly permitted are strictly prohibited.
