Chandragupt Institute of Management Patna Achieves 100 Placement for MBA Batch 2023 25

The Chandragupt Institute of Management Patna (CIMP) has successfully concluded placements for its PGDM 2023–25 batch, achieving a 100% placement rate.

All 116 eligible students secured job offers from reputed organizations across diverse sectors including banking, FMCG, FMCD, consulting, and public sector enterprises.

ICICI Bank emerged as the top recruiter with 25 offers, followed by Asian Paints with 10. The highest domestic package stood at ₹16.42 LPA, while the average salary recorded was ₹6.84 LPA.

CIMP Placement 2025 Highlights

The PGDM batch of 2023–25 at CIMP achieved full placement with all 116 students placed across 38 recruiting companies out of 52 participants. The institute’s audit report, verified by P. Jyoti & Co., Chartered Accountants, confirms transparent reporting under IPRS 2.2 guidelines.

Salary Highlights

CIMP’s placement drive reported a highest package of ₹16.42 LPA, an average package of ₹6.84 LPA, and a median package of ₹6.50 LPA. The top 25% of students secured an average of ₹9.15 LPA, while the top 50% averaged ₹8.45 LPA. The salary range for the batch varied between ₹2.90 LPA and ₹16.42 LPA.

Sector-Wise and Function-Wise Insights

Students received opportunities across multiple industries, with Banking, FMCG, FMCD, Dairy, and Public Sector emerging as the top recruiting sectors. The EdTech sector offered the highest average package of ₹9 LPA, followed by Aerospace & Defense (₹8 LPA) and Banking (₹7.93 LPA). In terms of job functions, Finance roles offered the highest average pay at ₹7.99 LPA, followed by Consulting (₹7.50 LPA) and Relationship Management (₹6.98 LPA).

Top Recruiters and Placement Locations

ICICI Bank led the placement drive with 25 offers, followed by Asian Paints with 10. Other recruiters included Axis Bank, ITC Ltd, Amul, Colgate-Palmolive, Adani Wilmar, Grant Thornton Bharat, and Airtel. Most offers were domestic (115), with one international placement in Kathmandu, Nepal. Bihar accounted for the highest number of placements (44), followed by Uttar Pradesh (8) and West Bengal (6).
