CGC will invite application forms for the Jhanjeri Open Scholarship 2024. Read the below article for relevant details.

Chandigarh Group of Colleges will start the application process for the CGC Jhanjeri Open Scholarship for higher education in December 2024. Candidates can apply for the scholarship till the end of May 2025. The scholarship is worth Rs 25 Crore and will be based on merit in the CGC Josh examination.

Eligibility Criteria

  • Students who have completed their secondary education and are seeking admission to undergraduate or postgraduate programs at CGC Jhanjeri can apply.
  • Candidates must qualify for the CGC JOSH examination
  • Special consideration will be given to students from economically disadvantaged backgrounds.

Application Process

Candidates have to follow the following steps to apply for the scholarship.

  • Visit https://scholarship.cgc.ac.in to sign up.
  • After signing up, your login ID and password will be sent to your shared phone number and email ID.
  • Login to your account using the same ID and password, and complete your profile.
  • Pay the fee and schedule the exam slot as per convenience within 15 days or before the last date.
  • On completion, the syllabus and sample papers will be shared with you on the same dashboard.
  • Appear in the CGC Josh examination on the scheduled date and time.
  • The result will be displayed on https://scholarship.cgc.ac.in on your dashboard within 24 hours.

Required Documents

  • Mark sheets and certificates of all previous educational qualifications
  • A copy of the admission letter from CGC Jhanjeri, confirming enrollment in a qualifying program.
  • A brief essay or statement explaining the applicant’s educational goals, career aspirations, and why they are applying for the scholarship.
  • ID Proof
  • Recommendation Letters
  • Recent passport-sized photographs
  • Income certificates

Note: Candidates must bring both original and self-attested copies of the above-mentioned documents.
