Central University of Karnataka has released the lists of candidates eligible to appear for personal interaction for admission to PhD programs 2024-25. The eligibility list is published based on the scores of National level examinations like JRF (UGC / CSIR / DBT / ICMR / ICSSR), NET (UGC/CSIR), NET-PhD only, GATE or equivalent.

CUK gives 70% weightage to JRF, NET and allied qualification, PG programme, and online tests conducted by the concerned department.

- DST-INSPIRE/Other Fellowships: 45 marks
- NET (UGC/CSIR), NET-PhD only, GATE, etc.: 40 marks
- PG Program Marks
- >80%: 10 marks
- >60%: 8 marks
- 55%-60% (50% for others): 6 marks
- Online Written test before interview: 10 marks
CUK gives 30% weightage for online presentations and viva voce. The distribution of marks is mentioned below:
- Online Presentation on a proposed field of research: 10 marks
- Online Viva-voce knowledge on the domain: 20 marks
