CENTAC has opened Round 2 registration and choice filling for NEET UG based medical courses in Puducherry. Candidates can register and submit course preferences on centacpuducherry.in. The notice was issued on September 8, 2026.
The Centralised Admission Committee (CENTAC), Puducherry, has opened Round 2 registration and choice filling for the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test Undergraduate (NEET UG) 2026 based medical courses. The official notice was issued on September 8, 2026. Eligible candidates can now register and submit course preferences on the official portal at centacpuducherry.in.
The notification also covers the resignation window for seats allotted in Round 1. Round 2 will fill the vacant seats reported after Round 1 completion. This includes seats across MBBS, BDS, BAMS, and BVSc & AH programmes.
CENTAC conducts counselling for the 85 percent state quota seats in Puducherry medical colleges. It also handles allotment for National Seats and the NRI quota within the union territory.

Who Is Eligible to Apply for Round 2?
Candidates who qualified NEET UG 2026 and meet CENTAC domicile norms can apply. Fresh applicants who missed Round 1 may register during this window. Candidates allotted a seat in Round 1 can also participate after resigning that seat.
Round 1 admitted candidates who wish to upgrade must submit fresh course preferences. Those satisfied with their current allotment need not re-register.

How to Resign a Round 1 Allotted Seat?
Candidates allotted seats in Round 1 can withdraw before Round 2 allotment. The resignation must be submitted online through the candidate login on CENTAC portal. Only resigned seats become vacant for Round 2 allotment.
Candidates should read the resignation clause carefully before proceeding. Refund rules, if any, will follow the CENTAC brochure norms.
Courses and Colleges Under CENTAC NEET UG Counselling
CENTAC allots seats across government and self-financing institutions in Puducherry. The counselling covers the following streams:
