CEETA PG 2026 Notification Out; Exam on May 10, Registration Begins March 16

The registration process for the Common Engineering Entrance Test and Admissions Postgraduate (CEETA-PG) 2026 will begin on March 16, 2026. The entrance examination is conducted for admission to postgraduate engineering and architecture programmes, including M.E., M.Tech, M.Arch, and M.Plan offered across institutions in Tamil Nadu. The last date to complete the online registration process is April 10, 2026 (Friday).

Through CEETA-PG, candidates can seek admission to programmes offered by the University Departments of Anna University, Chennai, Anna University regional campuses, and University Colleges of Engineering. The examination is also used for admissions at Annamalai University and various government and government-aided engineering colleges in the state.

According to the official schedule, the CEETA-PG 2026 entrance examination will be conducted on May 10, 2026 (Sunday). The exam will be held from 10:00 AM to 12:00 noon.

CEETA-PG 2026 Important Dates

The entrance test fee for CEETA-PG is INR 500 for candidates belonging to the SC, SCA, and ST categories of Tamil Nadu, while candidates from other categories are required to pay INR 1000. For counselling, candidates from reserved categories will have to pay INR 400 plus applicable GST, while others must pay INR 800 plus GST.

Candidates qualifying in the CEETA-PG examination may also be eligible for a stipend of INR 60,000 per semester, which will be awarded to top-ranked candidates as per government norms.
