CEE Kerala announced stray vacancy allotment to AYUSH courses on the official website. Students can register for the stray vacancy allotment starting from 2 November 2024.
The Government of Kerala, through the Office of the Commissioner for Entrance Examinations (CEE), has initiated the stray vacancy allotment process for seats in Ayurveda, Homoeopathy, Siddha, Unani, and other Medical Allied courses that remain vacant after the third phase of allotment. Eligible candidates on the Kerala State Medical Rank List can now register fresh options to secure a spot. This registration process is open until 11:59 PM on 6 November 2024.
To participate in the stray vacancy allotment, candidates must register options through the CEE's official website (www.cee.kerala.gov.in) by selecting the "Stray Vacancy Option Registration" link on the homepage. Candidates are encouraged to provide options for all colleges and courses they are interested in, as vacancies may arise across multiple institutions. Unfilled category seats will also be converted according to the existing prospectus conditions during this phase.
Important Guidelines and Eligibility
-
Ineligible Candidates: Those who joined allotted seats or received allotments in the third phase are not eligible to participate in this round. However, candidates allotted under the management quota at Padiar Homoeopathic Medical College and Sree Vidhyadhiraja Homoeopathic Medical College may register, though their admission is subject to pending legal proceedings.
-
Special Eligibility for BVSc and AH Courses: Candidates still in admitted status from prior phases may register options solely for the BVSc and AH courses, as directed by the Veterinary Council of India.
-
Exclusions: Candidates deemed ineligible by the All India Ayush Counselling Committee will not be considered for this state-level allotment.
Registration Fee Details
Candidates are required to pay a registration fee to participate:
-
General Candidates: ₹5,000
-
SC/ST/OEC and Beneficiary Candidates (as per specified government orders): ₹500
This fee is adjustable towards the tuition fee if the candidate receives an allotment, while unallotted candidates will receive a refund. However, candidates failing to join within the stipulated time will forfeit this fee as a penalty.
Fee Structure and Provisional Allotment
For those receiving allotments in self-financing colleges, provisional payment based on the previous academic year's fee is required. Adjustments will be made if new fees are set by the Admission Supervisory Committee or the Government. SC/ST/OEC candidates and other beneficiaries need not pay the admission fee unless allocated a management quota seat.
