The National Institute of Technology (NIT) Raipur, on behalf of the Centralized Counselling for M.Tech./M.Arch./M.Plan. Admissions (CCMT) 2026, has released the Round 2 Seat Allotment Result. Candidates can now check their allotment status on the official portal at ccmt.admissions.nic.in.

The result is available through the Candidate Activity Board after logging in with the GATE Registration ID and Password. Candidates who have been allotted a seat must complete the required admission formalities within the prescribed timeline to retain their allotted seat.

• The Provisional Allotment Letter will appear on the screen.

The provisional allotment letter contains important information including the candidate's personal details, rank details, seat allotment details, and instructions for the next stages of counselling.

• Upload all required scanned documents as specified in the information bulletin.
• Submit willingness as either Float, Freeze, or Slide.

Important Note

• Float: Accept the current seat while remaining eligible for upgrades to any institute or branch in subsequent rounds.
• Freeze: Accept the allotted seat and opt out of further upgradation rounds.
• Non-payment of the Seat Acceptance Fee will result in cancellation of the allotted seat.

What Happens If a Candidate Withdraws?

Candidates who choose to withdraw their allotted seat will lose all claims to that seat and will not be allowed to participate in the remaining regular rounds of CCMT 2026 counselling.

However, such candidates can still register for the Special Rounds or the National Spot Round (NSR) by submitting a fresh application and paying the applicable fee again.
