CBSE released the Class 9 and 10 Curriculum for 2026-27 today, April 2, 2026. The curriculum PDF is available on the official website at cbseacademic.nic.in, and will be in effect until 2031.

CBSE New Curriculum 2026–27 Released

The Central Board of Secondary Education has released the curriculum for the 2026–27 academic session for Classes 9, 10, 11, and 12. According to the board, the updated curriculum includes changes based on the recommendations of the National Curriculum Framework.

The revised curriculum is published on the official website at cbseacademic.nic.in. This curriculum and scheme of studies will be followed until 2031.

CBSE Curriculum 2026–27: Scheme of Studies Introduced

The CBSE has introduced a revised scheme of studies for Class IX from the academic session 2026–27, in line with the recommendations of the National Curriculum Framework. The curriculum for Classes XI and Class XII was released on April 1, 2026, followed by Classes IX and Class X on April 2, 2026.

To support schools in understanding the changes, CBSE is conducting a special webinar on April 2, 2026, from 3:00 PM onwards at its Dwarka headquarters, which will also be streamed online. The detailed curriculum documents are available on the CBSE Academic Website under the “Curriculum 2026–27” section.
