CBSE Board Exam 2024 Registration Deadline Extended for Class 9, 11 Students; Check Details Here

New Delhi: The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has extended the deadline for submitting registration forms for Class 9 and Class 11 students till October 25, 2023. Students can see the board's official announcement on the official website, cbse.gov.in.

According to a circular issued on October 6, 2023, the revised deadline for submitting CBSE Class 9 and 11 registration data on the board's website cbse.gov.in is now October 25, 2023, and there will be no late fees levied until this date. 

The registration form must be submitted between October 26 and October 29, 2023, for students who require additional time and wish to submit their money with a late charge.

"Considering various representations received from schools, the schedule for submission of registration data of Class IX, XI, 2023-2024 has been extended as follows," according to an official circular issued by CBSE.

The CBSE stressed the necessity of not just adhering to the registration deadline but also ensuring that the data entered by pupils is correct. “Following that, CBSE issued four reminders dated August 17, September 6, September 20, and September 26, 2023, reminding schools to finish their data and appropriately fill up the details of the students and topics in the LOC. Following that, it was stated that subject corrections following the submission of the LOC would not be considered in any way,” CBSE added.

CBSE Class 9, 11 Exams 2024 Revised Schedule

The board previously recommended schools have accurate and up-to-date data in preparation for the registration process. It is critical that only applicants whose names are submitted through the online registration portal will be eligible to take Class 10 and 12 board exams for the academic year 2024-25.

The registration fee for Indian students taking board exams in Class 9 and Class 11 is INR 300. International students, on the other hand, must pay a registration fee of INR 500 for Class 9 and INR 600 for Class 11.

In the event of a late registration, Indian students would be charged INR 2,300, while international students would be charged INR 2,500 for Class 9 and INR 2,600 for Class 11.

Instructions for CBSE Class 9, 11 Registrations 2024

The CBSE Board requires school principals to follow the instructions when completing the registration procedure for classes 9 and 11. 

• Students must be regular and legitimate students in their own right.
• Every authentic student's name must be registered.
• Students must attend authorised and linked schools.
• Regular class attendance is required.
• Students should not be registered with any other school education board besides CBSE at the same time.
• Students will be admitted to grades 9 and 11 and will take CBSE board examinations in 2024.
• Class 11 students must have finished all topics in class 10 and gotten a passing certificate from the appropriate board.
• Students must have graduated from a recognised high school.
