The Indian Institute of Management Indore (IIM Indore) has announced the Common Admission Test (CAT) 2026 application correction window on the official portal at iimcat.ac.in. The facility will remain active from October 5, 2026, at 10 AM to October 6, 2026, at 5 PM. Registered candidates can log in with their CAT ID and password to edit a limited set of fields before the November 29, 2026, examination.
The correction facility opens only once during the CAT 2026 cycle. Candidates who miss this two-day window will not get another chance to update their details. IIM Indore has restricted the edits to a small set of application fields.

Which Fields Can Be Edited?
IIM Indore has allowed changes to only three specific fields. All other details entered during registration remain locked at this stage.
- Photograph: Candidates can replace a blurred or non-compliant photograph.
- Signature: A fresh signature file can be uploaded if the earlier one was unclear.
- Test City Preferences: The ranked list of preferred test cities can be revised.
Personal details, academic qualifications, category selection, work experience, and contact information cannot be edited. Candidates must review every change carefully before saving the form.
How to Edit the CAT 2026 Application Form?
The correction process is fully online and requires no additional fee. Candidates should keep the revised files ready before logging in.
- Visit the official CAT 2026 portal at iimcat.ac.in.
- Click on the candidate login link available on the homepage.
- Enter your CAT ID and password to sign in to the dashboard.
- Open the application correction facility from the menu.
- Upload a revised photograph or signature in the prescribed format.
- Update the test city preferences from the available drop-down list.
- Review each change carefully before saving the form.
- Submit the corrections and download the updated confirmation page.
CAT 2026 Exam Day Details
The CAT 2026 examination will be held on November 29, 2026, as a computer-based test. IIM Indore will conduct the exam across three shifts on the same day.
