The Indian Institutes of Management (IIMs) have launched the CAT 2025 official website – iimcat.ac.in. This year, IIM Kozhikode will conduct the CAT exam. The registration is expected to start in August and continue till September. CAT 2025 exam date is expected to be November 30, 2025.
- CAT 2025 notification is expected to be out by July 25, 2025 with important dates, eligibility, reservation, fees, and other exam details.
- CAT marks is accepted for admission to over 21 IIMs and 1000 B-Schools in India.
In 2025, it is expected that more than 3 lakh candidates will appear for CAT 2025 as the interest in management is growing.

Who will organize CAT 2025?
CAT is conducted each year by one of the 21 IIMs in rotation. This year, it is IIM Kozhikode conducting CAT 2025 exam with Prof. Ram Kumar P N serving as the Exam Convenor. The exam is to be administered across 170 exam centers in India.

CAT 2025 Login Credentials
You can access the Login portal on the IIM CAT official website – iimcat.ac.in. CAT login credentials are shared via the registered email ID and mobile number. The login credentials are:

- Password
On the official website, click on the "New Candidate Registration" or "Register" button to create a user profile. Provide your basic details, such as name, date of birth, email address, and mobile number. Choose a unique User ID and create a password as per the specified criteria. Once you get the crentials, keep them secure for further use.
How to Apply for CAT 2025?
The CAT registration 2025 link will be avaibale on the official website iimcat.ac.in 2025. Register online with necessary information and get the login credentials. Then using the credentials, log in and fill out the application form, pay the registration fee, and complete the process.

Based on previous year trends, more than 3 lakh candidates are likely to register for CAT 2025. Over 2.8 lakh candidates are expected to appear for the exam.
CAT provides reservation for reserved category candidates as determined by Government of India. SC/STEWS/PwD/OBC categories come under the reserved category and seats have been reserved for the same.
There is no limit on the number of times a candidate can appear for the Common Admission Test (CAT). As long as you meet the other CAT eligibility criteria, you can appear for the exam as many times as you want.

Yes! PwD candidates are allotted extra time to complete CAT exam. The total exam duration is 160 minutes for differently abled candidates with a sectional time limit of 53 minutes and 20 seconds for each section.

IIMs have a fixed CAT registration fee to appear for the exam. General/EWS/NC-OBC candidates have to pay Rs 2500 anf reserved category candidates have to pay Rs 1250.
CAT 2025 notification is not out yet. However, it is expected to be out by July 25, 2025.

To meet CAT eligibility, students must have a minimum of 50% in their bachelor’s degree in any curriculum or equivalent CGPA. For students in SC/ST/PwD categories, 5% relaxation from the qualifying marks is given, i.e. 45%.
There is no age bar set to appear in the examination. Students with work experience can also add the details of the same.
