Bokaro Institute of Medical

Being the Founder and Director of Bokaro Institute of Medical Health & Services, what is your philosophy of leadership? How would you describe your leadership style?

According to the Army's leadership doctrinal manual, Field Manual (FM) 6-22, Army leadership is “the process of influencing people by providing purpose, direction, and motivation while operating, accomplishing the mission, and improving the organization.” Since I am an Ex-Army Man I believe in the same lines. The Important part of Leadership is that you have to provide purpose and motivation for the team members. Similarly at BIMHS, I work on motivating the team to achieve the desired goal which will be beneficial for the Organization.

What do you think your roles and responsibilities to the College and the students are?

As the Founder and Director, I have a lot of responsibilities. As far as the prime responsibility is concerned, the responsibility is to guide them and motivate my complete team of College. I am responsible for fulfilling the requirements as and when raised by the University. Whenever a student enrolls in my college, they are looking forward to building their career so it is my responsibility to provide them with quality education along with the discipline that they will require in the future.
