What is your main emphasis behind starting the HIITMS Academy?

Unemployment can be seen in youth everywhere even after completing graduation courses from universities. We believe the root cause of the redundancy is a lack of professional and practical knowledge. To eradicate unemployment in youth we have started the HIITMS Academy to offer students top-notch professional and practical courses with affordable fees.

How do you balance the needs of faculty, students, and administration as a Director?

Before starting the academy I worked as a faculty and an administrator. As I have two decades of experience with students, I have a good rapport with students and faculty, hence it helps me to understand their needs and balance my responsibilities with sociable decisions as a director.

As a director of - HIITMS Academy, what do you feel is the USP or what are the differentiating factors that make HIITMS stand out from other colleges?

I feel our USP is our budget-friendly courses which are designed to make students professional at an early age. One can become a professional or entrepreneur before their schoolmates become graduates or get a job, also, our industry-integrated curriculum is the factor that makes HIITMS stand out from other colleges

What steps would you take to ensure the college program’s curriculum remains relevant, aligns with industry demands, and prepares students for successful careers?

All our programs are industry-integrated. We have prepared a curriculum where every student must join the industry as an intern in the last semester. Hence our college program’s curriculum remains reverent with industry demands, thus undoubtedly we prepare our students for a successful career.

What kind of steps you are taking to bridge the gap between academia and the real industry world?

In our team, we have real-time industry experts and visiting faculty from reputed organizations of the respective industry. Our faculty shares the knowledge of what exactly the industry needs. Apart from academics, we organize industrial visits and workshops with industry experts to bridge the gap between academics and the real industry world.

What is the challenging part of being in the Director - role and how do you handle the challenges? 

Being a Director of the professional courses, and training academy every day is a challenging task. We have to do R&D of the industry's needs and growth, according to the needs and demands of the industry, we must prepare the best candidates. To do this exercise we have to arrange the best faculty and the best infrastructure, which is always a challenging part. Being a Director of the academy, I always feel the pleasure of doing all the exercises to prepare the best candies, it’s just because of my trustworthy team and their R&D and support.

Can you explain your strategies for building industry-academic relationships and strengthening industry relationships with the organization?

We always believe that there should be a strong relationship between industry and academia. Academy works to prepare suitable candidates for the industry and vice versa the industry should inform the academy of their needs according to their future demands. Hence we maintain good relationships with the industry by organizing seminars with industry experts.

What is your vision for the future as a director of the HIITMS Academy?

We always strive to make HIITMS Academy the best professional courses training provider and my vision is to make the academy one of the best institutions in India with quality education and affordable fees.
