My roles and responsibilities towards students is to teach them in the best way possible so that they ace in their career apart from teaching I also take give me latest information related to their field as well as things that are happening around the world, this helps create a curiosity in their minds which helps students to learn more about those things on their own.

How do you tend to establish healthy relations with the students and fellow faculty?

We create a healthy relationship among each other through having a friendly relationship with each other as our college is small so there are few students as well as few faculty members due to which each of them know each other & everyone contact themselves on a daily basis which creates a bonding between each other apart from this we have 1 on 1 session which helps each students to clear their doubts as well get to know each other.

What are the best practices offered by the department to the students which help them gain necessary skills?

There are various things we provide to the students which help them add skills in their career is that we do Practicals on a regular basis as pharmacy is a subject where students have to have knowledge of practical or else it will be no use whatever they are learning as well as it helps them understand things easily, we also provide them hospital visits for more practical exposure as it helps them understand things easily that how things work in real life.

How do you strategize the curriculum and how often it gets updated to make it befitting for the students?

As you know it is a small college so we are following the same pattern but the difference is we provide them practicals we are not that sufficient like big institutions to provide them with every material possible we just limited amount of material west teach them with that amount of material & students are happy with it, we just update our syllabus according to new years to come.

How do you help your student to cope up with the competition being so high in the outside world?

Like I have told you earlier I provide them with the latest knowledge that is happening in our domain, as well as we train them not to work on the nearby areas we teach them at our best so that they can achieve everything they want in their career & can reach to that level that they may have their own hospitals or work in the biggest hospital in India, practicals helps them understand things easily & we are providing them industry which are making them Industry ready & can cope up with the future.

Do you have any extracurricular activities/ programs to enhance the skills of the students or expose them to real world challenges?

Yes. We do have extracurricular activities such as invite experts to discussions on various topics recently we have done a session on Entrepreneurship which helps students to do certain things on their own so that they can have a better understanding of the world apart from this we have quiz competition in our college which helps students to compete against each other to earn the prize.

What are the challenges you faced/ are facing to uplift the quality of education of your department?

As our college is small there are many challenges such as there are less faculty in our college, less equipments to educate the students, less number of people leads to improper structure & students often don’t come to colleges except exams, so we have maintained system of friendly education & relationship among students which is making progress little by little, they are still many challenges & I love challenges that’s why I have joined this college.

When you came to college, what was your vision and how are you trying to achieve the same?

Like I have said I love challenges. I can came here to challenge myself & my vision is to provide the best possible knowledge to the students which will help them achieve anything in their career & I am working towards it by providing them with all the materials related to their education related to their career related to their subjects & related to the current affairs around the world as well as give them life lessons which may impact their decisions related to their future.

What do you see as the college’s greatest strengths and how can it be enhanced?

Our college greatest strength is our relationship with the students as students are the future; if we treat them as our students and teach them forcefully like in the old time it may create hindrances among each other but if you become friends with them it creates an impact through this students learn pretty well as well our relationship with students remains intact which is the major strength of our college.
