Mr. Pitamber Sudhakar Jha is the Centre Head of the NIPS School of Hotel Management. A seasoned professional, he has over 19 years of experience in the hospitality industry. He holds a diploma in Hotel Management from NIPS School of Hotel Management, Catering Technology, and Applied Nutrition, Kolkata. Besides his regular education, he also has certifications in “Fire Party Extinguishment Practices” from the State of Alaska, Fire Division, and “Princess U” a program run by Princess Cruises. Mr. Jha has worked at Princess Cruises, USA, Taj Residency, Maharashtra, and Marella Cruises, UK, as Chef De Partie. Since April 2022, he has been associated with the NIPS School Of Hotel Management as Campus Coordinator and Lecturer.

As a center head, my roles and responsibilities to the university and the students would include providing academic leadership, managing faculty, and supporting student success. I also look after the development and enhancement of academic programs to align with industry trends and ensure high-quality education.
