Being a Faculty of the MBA Department, what are your roles and responsibilities towards the students?

The major role of the Faculty of Alwar School of Business and Computers is to prepare the students to face professional challenges through role plays and case studies.

How do you tend to establish healthy relations with the students and fellow faculty?

Establishing healthy relationships with students and fellow faculty members is essential for creating a positive and productive educational environment. I prefer to maintain open lines of communication with both students and fellow faculty members. I make sure that I am available for conversations, whether it’s about coursework, projects, or personal matters. An approachable demeanor encourages students and colleagues to feel comfortable seeking your guidance or input. I treat everyone with respect and empathy. Show understanding and consideration for their perspectives, backgrounds, and experiences. This helps create an inclusive, and welcoming atmosphere.

How do you try to bring in a practical approach towards subjects and make it industry-oriented?

Our curriculum which included internship and project works is helpful for the students to understand the work environment and also the difference between theory and application side. And also we conduct seminars and experience-sharing sections with dignitaries from various industries. It is helpful for the students to gain more practical knowledge.

What are the best practices offered by the department to the students that help them gain necessary skills?

We have interview training sections, personality development counseling, communication and presentation skills development sections etc. which will be conducted by various experts from our college as well as trainers from outside.

How do you strategize the curriculum and how often it gets updated to make it befitting for the students?

Our placement team caters to the job positions as per our students' specialization. Two basic strategies, the empirical rational and the power coercive, are found to be important approaches to curriculum change. A typology of factors is used to describe the specific methods used to implement (or resist) curriculum change.

What are your views on the placements and higher education of the students from your department or how does your department prepare students for Higher education?

The greatest strength that we have is the support from our management. Alwar Das Group is one of the top educational groups in Andhra Pradesh, the support which is given by the management for the further expansion and growth of our institution is remarkable. We also have highly qualified faculties and staff which will be helpful for the students to gain more knowledge and skills. Our greatest asset is our students, existing as well as passed-out students who are too enthusiastic on their skill development. They are the ones who always give encouragement and motivation to be one of the best educational institutions in the field of management.

How do you help your student to cope with the competition being so high in the outside world?

I always encourage our students to compete with themselves, because they should identify their strengths and weaknesses then only they can be able to compete with the outside world. Gradually they can increase their confidence level and gain more skills to tackle those weaknesses.

Do you have any extracurricular activities/ programs to enhance the skills of the students or expose them to real-world challenges?

We have extracurricular activities to make our students more active. I can proudly say that we have some students who are into national level sports and also into Arts. Once a week we have an extracurricular activities section to showcase the talent of students

What valuable advice would you like to the students for them to have a prosperous career ahead?

I would like to suggest students seek internship opportunities, consider taking part in a work-study program, grow your skills and knowledge, get an early start, keep your skills up-to-date, stay focused, find a balance with your personal life, and pursue your passion.
