Prof. Maulik D Trivedi is working as an Assistant Professor at Darshan University. He is associated with this institute since July, 2009. He has teaching experience of more than 13 years. His areas of interest are Wireless Network, Computer Networks, Cyber Security and Google Services. Currently, he is coordinating alumni relations matters in the Civil Department. He has taught subjects like Computer Networks, Cyber Security, Mobile Computing and Wireless Communication, Advance Computer Networks, Computer Programming and Utilization and Programming for Problem Solving to undergraduate students and Internet Technology and Wireless Communication to postgraduate students.

What are your roles and responsibilities?

I ensure to have enough time to interact with students with a vision of a healthy association and collaboration with them. Thus, as an assistant professor of an outstanding educational institute, I am responsible for cultivating a culture of purpose, motivation and strength for future generations to come. I use business simulations, case studies, live projects, and other pedagogical practices to make sure our students are well prepared to become industry managers and leaders. Teaching and research are my passions. Being a professor, I endeavor to contribute to the creation of capable human capital who can solve problems and create value in our socio-economic and cultural environment. This idea keeps me enthused and engaged with the learning environment. I have held key positions at education institutes throughout my professional career where I have learned something or the other. Talking about the key factors that keep me connected with the education industry is equal access to education and high learning productivity.

How do you establish a healthy relation and environment in your institute?

“I try my best to know my students through a wide variety of activities and events and it helps me to have a healthy relation with them”

There are several ways to get to know your students: Learn about student behavior, talk with them during teaching, prompt answering them, encourage them to participate in extracurricular events, complete student interests and their learning, play career-building activities.
