Students are urged to visit the official website of AKTU before the deadline for applications. BTech graduates who have passed their BTech degree with a minimum cumulative grade point average (CGPA) of 7.75, may apply directly to a PhD programme at AKTU Lucknow.

Students appearing in the exams of their last semester of BTech can also apply for a PhD by submitting their semester grades so far. Candidates who are holding MTech degrees must have a CGPA of 5.75 to be eligible. According to KTU Dean (Research) Shalij PR, 100 full-time PhD candidates will get the fellowship that the institution is offering.

The Directorate of Technical Education additionally awards grants to deserving students working on research projects in public engineering colleges. Candidates will be eligible for selection if they receive a combined score of 50% on the test and the interview.

On the university's official website, ktu.edu.in, candidates may find the complete announcement, according to a known source. The university anticipates higher enrollment in its PhD degrees this year as a result of improving job opportunities in research and development organisations, according to Shalij.

Admission to the PhD programme is determined by an entrance exam, which is followed by an interview round. To be eligible for the interview round, candidates must have at least a 50% overall score in the entrance exam. Around 800 researchers are now enrolled in PhD studies at the university's many associated institutions.
