Bihar Board Class 12th: BSEB Revises Dress Code Guidelines; Check Details Here

Bihar School Examination Board or BSEB has revised the dress code for Bihar Board class 12th examination. As per the guidelines issued, the board has prohibited students from wearing shoes and socks in the examination hall. Students appearing in the examination must not wear shoes and socks with effect from 6 February 2025.

Earlies due to weather conditions, students were allowed to wear shoes and socks till 5 February 2025. Now, the weather conditions have improved in the state, students are prohibited from wearing shoes and socks in the examination hall. Students not following the guidelines for Bihar Board class 12th examination 2025 will not be allowed to sit in the examination.

BSEB released the update regarding the change in dress code guidelines on x.com (formerly Twitter). The update informs all concerned students, parents, superintendents, nodal officers, program officers, and all district education officers that the board has reviewed the guidelines for Bihar Board class 12th dress code after 5 February 2025. Because of improvements in the weather conditions, the board has decided to strictly prohibit candidates from wearing shoes and socks inside the examination hall. Students not following the guidelines will not be allowed to enter the examination center.
