Exam Pattern and Marking
BITSAT consists of multiple-choice questions covering Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, English Proficiency, and Logical Reasoning. The examination duration is typically 3 hours. Each correct answer is awarded marks, with negative marking for incorrect responses. The examination assesses candidates' conceptual understanding and problem-solving abilities required for engineering and science programmes.
Admission Process
Following the examination, BITS Pilani will release merit lists based on BITSAT scores and Class 12 marks. Candidates can then fill their programme preferences through the preference form. The admission process involves multiple iterations of seat allotment based on merit rank and candidate preferences. Candidates must pay fees and complete document verification to confirm their admission.
Important Instructions
Candidates should download their admit cards from May 20, 2026 onwards and verify all details carefully. They must carry valid identification documents to the examination centre. The examination will be conducted in online mode at designated test centres. Candidates should arrive at the centre well before the scheduled examination time.
