BITSAT 2026 Session 2 Application Window Extended Till May 5

BITS Pilani has extended the application window for BITSAT-2026 Session-2 till May 5, 2026. Candidates can submit their online applications through the official BITS Pilani admission website at admissions.bits-pilani.ac.in/FD/FD.html. The Session-2 examination is scheduled to be conducted from May 24 to May 26, 2026. Candidates who have not yet registered or appeared for Session-1 can now apply for Session-2 before the extended deadline. Those who have already registered for Session-1 can use their existing credentials to apply for Session-2.

BITSAT-2026 is being conducted in two sessions to provide flexibility to candidates. Session-1 was held on April 15-16, 2026. Session-2 will be conducted from May 24-26, 2026. Candidates appearing in both sessions will have their higher score considered for admission purposes. This dual-session approach allows candidates to attempt the examination twice and benefit from their best performance. Fresh candidates who missed Session-1 can now register and apply for Session-2 before the May 5 deadline.

The application fee for Session-2 varies based on candidate category and location. For Indian and Nepal candidates, the fee is INR 3,600 for males and INR 3,100 for females and transgender candidates. For Dubai candidates, the fee is INR 7,250 for all categories. For Kuwait candidates, the fee is INR 2,000. Candidates who have already applied for Session-1 need to pay only INR 2,000 (males) or INR 1,500 (females/transgender) for Session-2. The application fee is non-refundable and non-transferable. Payment can be made online through PayU Money, PayTM, or Razorpay payment gateways.

Fresh candidates must first register to obtain a system-generated unique 8-digit Application Number (User ID) and password. Candidates should use a valid email ID and mobile number that will remain active throughout the admission process. OTPs for validation will be sent to the registered email and mobile number. The Application Number and Password will also be sent to the registered email and mobile number for future correspondence. Overseas candidates will receive these details via email only.

Candidates must ensure accurate entry of critical information including Name, Date of Birth, Mobile Number, Email Address, Gender, and Test City Preferences. These details cannot be changed after registration, so candidates should verify them carefully before submission. Candidates should take a printout of the application form after submission for future reference and correspondence. Only one application form should be submitted; duplicate submissions will be rejected by the system.

An edit window will be available from May 7 to May 9, 2026 for candidates to make corrections in their application forms. However, certain fields such as Name, Date of Birth, Mobile Number, Email Address, Gender, and Test City Preferences cannot be edited post-registration. Candidates should carefully review all information before the final submission to avoid any discrepancies. The edit window provides an opportunity to correct other details if needed before the examination.

Image upload requirements must be followed carefully during application submission. Photographs must be in jpg/jpeg format with file size between 50 KB to 100 KB. Signature must be in jpg/jpeg format with file size between 10 KB to 100 KB. Candidates should ensure images meet these specifications before uploading to avoid rejection. The online application process should be completed using provided navigation links; candidates should avoid using the browser's back button during the process.
