The Birla Institute of Technology and Science (BITS) Pilani has released the BITSAT 2026 Iteration 2 seat allotment result. The result was declared on July 1, 2026, on the official admissions portal at admissions.bits-pilani.ac.in. Candidates who registered for the admission process can now log in and check their allotment status.
Newly allotted candidates must accept the seat and pay the advance fee by July 8, 2026. The payment window is open only in online mode. Candidates who fail to pay within the deadline will lose the allotted seat.

How to Check the BITSAT 2026 Iteration 2 Result?
The allotment status appears on the candidate dashboard after login. Students can view their allotted programme, campus, and category-wise rank inside their account.
- Visit the official portal at admissions.bits-pilani.ac.in.
- Click on the Iteration 2 Seat Allotment link on the homepage.
- Enter your application number and password.
- View your seat allotment status on the dashboard.
- Download the allotment letter for reference.

How to Accept the Seat and Pay the Advance Fee?
Candidates newly allotted a seat in Iteration 2 must accept it and pay the advance fee online. The fee has to be paid using credit card, debit card, or net banking. Offline payment is not accepted.
Students who already secured a seat in Iteration 1 do not need to pay the fee again. They remain in the process automatically for programme upgrades in the next round.

What Are the Freeze and Upgrade Options?
Allotted candidates must choose between Freeze and Upgrade before the response deadline. The Freeze option locks the current programme and campus. The Upgrade option keeps the candidate eligible for a higher preference in the next iteration.
Choosing Upgrade does not cancel the current seat. It only allows movement to a better preference if one becomes available in a later round.
Missing the July 8 deadline cancels the allotted seat. The seat then moves to the waitlist pool for the next iteration. There is no reinstatement option after the payment window closes.
