The Birla Institute of Technology and Science (BITS) Pilani will release the Birla Institute of Technology and Science Admission Test (BITSAT) 2026 Iteration 1 admit list and waitlist on June 20, 2026. The announcement will be hosted on the official admissions portal at admissions.bits-pilani.ac.in. Candidates who filled their programme preferences during the choice-filling window can check their allotment status from that date.

BITS Pilani will run the BITSAT 2026 counselling across seven iterations in total. Iteration 2 is scheduled for July 1, 2026. After each iteration, the institute publishes a fresh admit list and waitlist based on candidate ranks and stated preferences.

How to Accept the Allotted Seat?

Candidates listed in the Iteration 1 admit list must accept the offered seat through the portal. Acceptance is completed by paying the admission fee within the deadline notified for Iteration 1.

Candidates who wish to be considered for an upgrade in later iterations can opt in while accepting the current seat. Those who skip the acceptance step will lose the offered seat.
