BITS BDes Admissions 2025 Open; Apply Before January 31

Birla Institute of Technology and Science (BITS) Design School has officially opened admissions for its Bachelor of Design (B.Des) (Hons) program for the academic year 2025. Candidates have to go through the interview and entrance exam to get selected for the course. The entrance exam will take place from March 31, 2025.

BITS Bdes Admission Process 2025

The candidates applying for the program at BITS have to go through the following process to get admission to the course:

• Begin your application
• Submit scores of NID-DAT Prelims / UCEED / BITSDAT
• Portfolio interview (If shortlisted)
• Receive an offer (If selected)
• Confirm a seat

BITS Bdes Fee Structure 2025

Candidates applying for the BDes program can go through the table below to know the detailed breakdown of the fee:

A one-time Admission Fee of INR 40,000 will be payable at the time of accepting the offer for admission to AY 2025-26. The residence fee includes housing, meals, and access to sports facilities and these fees are subject to an annual increase of up to 8%.

BITS Bdes Eligibility Criteria 2025

Candidates applying for admission to the course must meet the following eligibility criteria:

• Applicants should have taken at least one of these tests: National Institute of Design - Design Aptitude Test Prelims (NID‑DAT Prelims), IIT Bombay Undergraduate Common Entrance Examination for Design (UCEED), BITS Design Aptitude Test (BITSDAT).
• Passed Class 12 with a minimum of 45%.

Candidates applying for the course can also avail of scholarships as the loans will be offered at interest rates that are among the lowest available in the country.
