BIT Mesra MBA admissions have begun for the academic year 2026. Results will be declared in the first week of April 2026. Get more details below.

Birla Institute of Technology Mesra, also known as BIT Mesra, has opened MBA admissions for 2026. Interested candidates can apply online through the official website of bitmesra.ac.in, by March 14, 2026. However, the dates for group discussion and personal interview have been tentatively scheduled on March 27 & 28, 2026.

BIT Mesra offers an MBA in six different specializations: Finance, Human Resources, Marketing, Information Technology, Operations, and Business Analytics.

Candidates should know that the Department of Management, BIT Mesra, offers MBA at its BIT Mesra (Main Campus)-Residential, BIT Mesra (Lalpur Unit)-Non-Residential, and its off campuses of Noida and Patna.

The General category, OBC-NCL/ General-EWS candidates have to pay an application fee of INR 1500, and SC, ST candidates have to pay INR 1000, which can be paid through UPI/Credit Card / Debit Card / Net Banking.

BIT Mesra MBA Eligibility Criteria

Admission to the MBA programme will be based on valid XAT 2026, CMAT, MAT and CAT 2025 scores for Mesra and Mesra (Lalipur Unit), as well as work experience. Applicants are required to hold a bachelor’s degree with at least 50% marks, and final year students may also apply with a minimum of 50% marks.

Note: Candidates have to provide their original documents required at the time of GD and PI includes Bachelors degree, markesheet, undertaking on Non-Judicial Stamp Paper of Rs 20 (Notarised), class 10 & 12 passing certificate and marksheet, Admit card of CAT, GMAT, CMAT, MAT, and XAT, score card, Migration certificate, college leaving certificate, category certificate (if applicable) and photo identification.
