BIT Mesra Releases Admission Schedule for Academic Year 2026

Candidates can now check application dates, entrance tests, and selection timelines for each programme.

Birla Institute of Technology (BIT) has officially released the admission schedule for the academic year 2026 across its Mesra, Lalpur, Jaipur, Noida, Patna, and Deoghar campuses. The institute has announced detailed dates for application form availability, entrance tests, GD–PI rounds, and counselling procedures for all UG, PG, and doctoral programmes.

For PG management admissions, the application process for the MBA (Regular) and MBA (Online) programmes will begin on 15 January 2026. GD and PI rounds for MBA (Regular) will be conducted from 17 to 21 March 2026, while MBA (Online) interviews are scheduled from 24 to 27 March 2026. Admissions for the MBA (NRI/SFFS/OCI) category will open on 16 March 2026 and will be based on academic performance.

Programmes like MCA, M.Tech, M.Pharm, MUP, and M.Sc will open applications on 25 March 2026, with tests and interviews scheduled in June 2026.

PhD (Monsoon 2026) applications will start on 25 March 2026, with the written test and interviews set for 19 May 2026. The PhD (Spring 2027) cycle will begin later on 12 October 2026.

For UG admissions, application forms for BHM, Integrated MBA, B.Pharm, BBA, BCA, B.Sc., and other specialised programmes will open on 20 April 2026. Selection will be based on Class 12 marks, entrance tests, or GD–PI, depending on the programme. Admissions for B.Tech programmes at the Jaipur campus and Integrated M.Sc/B. Tech courses at Mesra, Patna, and Deoghar will be conducted through JEE Main 2026 scores, followed by JoSAA/CSAB counselling.
