LNMU has extended the nomination deadline till October 29, 2024 for students who passed the CET-B.Ed.-2024. Students can check the official website for further updates.

The Office of the State Nodal Officer for CET-B.Ed.-2024 at Lalit Narayan Mithila University (LNMU), Darbhanga, has announced an extension of the nomination deadline to October 29, 2024, for students who passed the CET-B.Ed.-2024 examination and are participating in the final centralized special counseling and admission round. This decision is aimed at accommodating students affected by delays in the release of selected candidate lists across various universities.

Decision to Extend Deadline Due to Administrative Delays

The original deadline of October 25 proved a challenge for most candidates as they could not submit their nominations in time due to the late release of admission lists. The four-day extension guarantees enough time to confirm admissions without missing the chance to get a B.Ed. degree.

According to the notification, this decision was made in consultation with the Honorable Vice Chancellor of LNMU. It demonstrates the university's commitment to supporting students through the admission process while addressing administrative delays that could have impacted the student nomination process.

Guidelines for Institutes With Vacant Seats

Along with the deadline, the notice also encourages all participating colleges to implement a systematic approach to fill in all vacant seats after October 29th. In case there is any vacancy left behind, they are strictly guided to follow the waiting list in their merit order for the respective candidates to fill in.

Key Points for CET-B.Ed.-2024 Candidates:

  • Candidates who passed CET-B.Ed.-2024 and enrolled in the final centralised special counselling round now have until October 29 to secure their nominations.
  • Participating institutions with vacant seats must select candidates from the waiting list based on the next merit order to fill remaining spots after October 29.
  • The extension benefits candidates who faced delays due to logistical challenges or pending lists, granting them extra time to complete their admissions.

For additional queries and support, candidates can contact the CET-B.Ed. nodal office at LNMU, Kameshwaranagar, Darbhanga. The nodal office is committed to providing all necessary guidance to ensure a smooth admission process for CET-B.Ed.-2024 candidates.
