How to Pay the BHU UG Admission Fee?

The payment link appears inside the same Samarth dashboard after allotment. BHU has advised candidates to use a PC or laptop instead of a mobile phone. This helps avoid technical failures during the transaction.

• Log in to the Samarth dashboard using CUET credentials.
• Open the fee payment tab under the Round 1 allotment section.
• Select either the Freeze or the Upgrade option.
• Complete the payment through the available online modes.
• Download and save the payment receipt for future reference.

Freeze or Upgrade Which Option Should You Choose?

Every allotted candidate must pick one of two choices before paying the fee. The selection decides how the seat is treated in later rounds.

• Freeze: The candidate accepts the current seat as final. No further upward movement is possible in later rounds.
• Upgrade: The candidate keeps the current seat but stays eligible for a better programme in Round 2. Any fee difference must be paid if an upgrade is received.

If no upgrade is offered, the candidate retains the Round 1 seat without penalty. Both options require the Round 1 fee to be paid within the deadline.

What Happens If You Miss the BHU Fee Payment Deadline?

Failure to pay the admission fee by 11:59 PM on August 3, 2026 leads to automatic seat cancellation. Such candidates lose eligibility for the remaining CAP-UG rounds at BHU. The seat is then released into the Round 2 vacancy pool for other applicants.
