BBAU PhD Admissions 2025 Open through Entrance Exam; Check Details Here

Babasaheb Bhimrao Ambedkar University (BBAU) has announced the Entrance Test schedule for Ph.D. programs in Horticulture, Pharmaceutical Science, Electronic Engineering, and three other departments. The entrance exam will be conducted on March 1, 2025, from 10 AM to 12 Noon at the university.

BBAU Ph.D. Selection Criteria

The final selection for Ph.D. admission at BBAU will be based on the combined merit of the Entrance Test (70% weightage) and Interview (30% weightage). The Departmental Research Committee (DRC) may conduct interviews in a hybrid mode to complete admissions quickly.

• Interview Evaluation (30 Marks):
  • Academic Performance (5 Marks):
  • UG Score: (UG % × 2) ÷ 100
  • PG Score: (PG % × 3) ÷ 100
  • 4-Year UG Honours with Research: (UG % × 5) ÷ 100
• Fellowship (10 Marks):
  • JRF/Other National Fellowships – 10 marks
  • M.Phil. + NET – 7 marks
  • M.Phil. or NET – 5 marks
• Research Proposal – 5 Marks
• Personal Interaction – 10 Marks

The Entrance Test will be held (Offline mode) at the Babasaheb Bhimrao Ambedkar University, Vidya Vihar, Raebareli Road, Lucknow-226025 campus only.
