The National Entrance Test will be held on 14 December 2025, personal interviews are scheduled from 5 to 9 January 2026, and classes will commence in July 2026.

Azim Premji University (APU), Bengaluru, has officially opened applications for its Undergraduate (UG) programmes for the academic year 2026–27. Aspiring students can apply online until November 14, 2025.
The university offers a range of undergraduate programmes, including B.A. in Economics, English, History, Philosophy, and Social Science; B.Sc. in Physics, Biology, Mathematics, and Environmental Science; and dual-degree combinations across humanities and sciences. The programmes follow a liberal education model, giving students flexibility to pursue core disciplines, minors, and open electives.
Eligibility criteria require applicants to have completed Class 12 or an equivalent examination from a recognised board. Students appearing for their Class 12 exams in 2026 are also eligible to apply. Selection will be based on the entrance test conducted by APU, followed by a personal interview to assess academic interests and motivation.

Azim Premji University UG Admission - Application Process
The admission process at Azim Premji University consists of three steps:
Step 1 – Online Application: Candidates must fill out the online application form, providing personal details and educational background. The application is completed by paying a fee of INR 500.
Step 2 – National Entrance Test or External Test Scores: Applicants have two options:
- National Entrance Test (NET): Conducted by Azim Premji University.
- External Test Scores: Candidates can submit scores from CUET-UG, JEE, or SAT.
Step 3 – Interview: Depending on the admissions criteria for the year, shortlisted candidates may be called for a personal online interview to assess academic interests and motivation.
