Assam NEET 2024 has announced Round 3 of online counselling for admissions into MBBS and BDS for Government Medical and Dental Colleges from October 16, 2024.
The Directorate of Medical Education (DME), Assam, has announced the commencement of the 3rd round of online counselling for admissions into MBBS and BDS courses at the Government Medical and Dental Colleges of Assam for the 2024 session. This counselling round will begin on October 16, 2024, and will also cover the previously deferred 2nd round under the state quota.

Important Information for Candidates

Fresh Registration: Eligible candidates who missed the 1st and 2nd rounds can register for the 3rd round via the official website www.dme.assam.gov.in.

Previous Registrations: Candidates who registered successfully during earlier rounds do not need to register again. Their previously filled choices will remain valid. However, they can revise their choices during the 3rd round choice-filling period if desired.

Admission Requirements:

Provisionally selected candidates must report to the allotted Medical/Dental College on October 22 or 23, 2024 during office hours for admission.

Candidates already admitted during the 1st round but receiving a new allotment must report to the newly allotted college with acknowledgement receipts or documentary proof from their previous institution.

Cancellation of Previous Allotment: If a candidate is assigned a new college and fails to join within the stipulated time, their previous seat will be cancelled, and the seat will be allotted to another candidate.

Special Reservation for Government School Students
Candidates who appeared for document verification under the 5% Government School Reservation on October 5, 2024, and were deemed eligible will be allotted seats based on merit and their choice preferences during this counselling round.
Final Admission Notice
Following the conclusion of the 3rd round of counselling, candidates will not be allowed to participate in any further rounds of counselling.
