Assam Agricultural University UG and PG Admission 2026-27 Open at admission.aau.ac.in; Check Last Date to Apply

The Assam Agricultural University (AAU), Jorhat has opened applications for its Undergraduate (UG) and Postgraduate (PG) Admission 2026-27 on the official portal at admission.aau.ac.in. The last date and time to submit the application form and pay the fee is 4:00 PM on June 10, 2026.

The admission portal is jointly hosting applications for AAU and the Assam Veterinary and Fisheries University (AVFU). Candidates can apply for UG, PG, Doctoral, and the B.Tech-M.Tech Integrated programme in Molecular Biology and Biotechnology.

An Academic Bank of Credits (ABC) ID is mandatory for all applicants. This requirement follows the National Education Policy (NEP) 2020 framework. Only one application per candidate is allowed. Multiple submissions will lead to rejection of the duplicate forms.

The application fee must be paid online through the integrated payment gateway. Offline payment is not accepted. The fee varies by category as listed below.

Who Is Eligible to Apply?

UG applicants must have passed Class 12 in the Science stream with Physics, Chemistry, and Biology or Agriculture. General candidates need a minimum aggregate of 50 percent marks. SC, ST, OBC, and PwD candidates need at least 40 percent marks.

PG and doctoral applicants must hold a relevant Bachelor's or Master's degree in the chosen discipline. The detailed subject-wise eligibility is listed in the official Information Bulletin on the portal.

How to Apply for AAU Admission 2026-27?

The application process has three steps. Each step must be completed before the deadline.

• Register on the admission portal with a valid email ID and mobile number.
• Fill the application form and upload the photo and signature in JPEG format up to 100 KB.
• Upload supporting documents in PDF format up to 150 KB.
• Pay the application fee online through net banking, debit card, credit card, or UPI.
• Submit the form and download the confirmation page for future reference.

AAU Admission Selection Process

UG admission is based on the AAU Common Entrance Test (AAU-CET) and ICAR AIEEA UG scores. PG admission considers entrance test performance and academic merit in the qualifying degree. Candidates applying for the integrated biotechnology programme may also need to submit GAT-B scores.
