Ashoka University has recently announced admission to the postgraduate programs for the academic year 2026. Ashoka University PG Admission 2026 Dates

The admission dates for PG programs (MA in English and MA in Economics) at Ashoka University differ from each other. Check compete schedule below.

Ashoka University PG Eligibility Criteria

Candidates who wish to seek admission in the MA Economics must have a bachelor's degree in any discipline. For Ashoka University, graduate candidates must have an Economics major or the interdisciplinary Economics and Finance major, and a CGPA of 3.6 and above will make them eligible for direct admission.

Students in their final year can also apply, but they will be judged based on their fifth-semester academic performance; they have the choice to select for the exam. However, the exam will test students compulsorily on statistics and analytical reasoning. In addition to that, they will be required to choose either the section on mathematics or the section on economics.

Candidates who wish to seek admission in MA English must have completed bachelors degree in any discipline with a minimum of 55%. Admission will be based on the on-sport essay written test, where candidates will be tested based on their critical thinking, clarity of thought, and creativity, followed by an interview with a panel.

Ashoka University PG Fee 2026

Candidates have to pay a refundable security deposit of INR 20,000 at the time of admission, which will be refunded at the time of graduation from Ashoka University.

The University offers a need-based scholarship to the candidates who receive an admission offer from the Office of Admissions, and the Department of English and the Department of Economics will be given the option to apply for the Need-based Scholarship at this stage.
