*Per semester: Full-time PhD programs span 3 years (6 semesters), while part-time programs span 4 years (8 semesters).

The eligibility and selection process for the PhD program is based on an entrance exam followed by a personal interview. However, candidates meeting any of the following criteria are exempted from the PhD admission test:

• Those who have qualified in a national-level test such as UGC-NET (with JRF) or UGC-CSIR NET (with JRF);
• Holders of UGC-NET, UGC-CSIR NET, SLET, GATE, CEED, Teacher Fellowship, or those who have completed an M.Phil program; and NET-qualified candidates.

Step 2: Next, click on the “Apply Now” button to register.

Step 3: Register by entering your name, email address, mobile number, and new password.

Step 4: Log in using the email address and password.

Step 5: Fill out the application form by entering your personal and qualification details.

Step 6: Upload a scanned copy of a passport-size photograph and enter the address.

Step 7: Now, upload a scanned copy of your signature and click on the “Submit” button.

Step 8: Pay the application fee of INR 2000/- online.

Step 9: The confirmation message will appear on the screen, take a printout of the page for your future reference.
