Dr NTR University of Health Sciences, Vijayawada, has officially extended the reporting deadline for AP State NEET PG 2025 Phase 1 Category Quota (CQ) Non-Service candidates. According to the notice dated 09 December 2025, candidates who were allotted seats under AP State PG Medical Counselling in Phase 1 may now report to their allotted colleges until 3:00 PM on 12 December 2025, instead of the earlier deadline of 3:00 PM on 09 December 2025.

The extension follows the Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) notification issued on 08 December 2025, which permitted candidates who have already reported to their All India Quota (AIQ) Round 1 seats to resign and participate in their respective State counselling processes. With MCC allowing resignations from AIQ Round 1, the extended reporting date aims to provide candidates ample time to complete procedural formalities and join their allotted seats under AP State counselling without losing academic opportunities.
The University has instructed all Principals and Deans of affiliated medical colleges to strictly comply with the revised deadline. Colleges must ensure that a candidate is admitted only after verifying successful resignation from the AIQ Round 1 seat, including confirmation that the resignation has been properly updated on the intramcc portal by the concerned institution. This verification step is mandatory to prevent dual seat retention and ensure adherence to counselling norms.
Candidates are advised to complete reporting formalities within the extended timeframe and follow all instructions issued by MCC and the University. Institutions are also reminded to strictly follow the guidelines to ensure a smooth and transparent admission process.
