Anna University CEAP Counselling 2023 Registration Open for the GATE Category: Choice Filling From June 12 to June 14

New Delhi: Anna University has released the CEAP 2023 Counselling schedule for candidates who appeared for the GATE 2023 exam. The counselling process will be conducted on the official website @cfa.annauniv.edu/cfa. 

Anna University will conduct admission to PG courses such as MTech, MArch, MPlan, etc, based on either GATE or CEETA PG scores. CEETA PG Merit list has already been released and candidates can submit their preferences as per the courses they wish to pursue for the CEAP Counselling from June 12 to June 14, 2023, on the basis of a valid GATE score.

Only candidates who successfully completed the CEAP 2023 registration and verification process will be considered for inclusion in the merit list and can further exercise their choices in the CEAP Counseling process. The allocation of seats to candidates will be conducted solely through online counseling conducted by Anna University.

Anna University CEAP Counselling 2023 Through GATE: Important Dates 

In order to engage in various applicant activities during a round of counseling, the applicant must access the online counseling portal using their login ID and password, which are the same as those used during the CEAP 2023 - GATE Category application registration. 

Instructions to GATE category Applicants for Online Choice Filling and Confederation 

Candidates can follow the steps mentioned below to register for the CEAP counseling process: 

Anna University CEAP Counselling 2023: Preference-based Allotment Process and Seat Allocation

• Once the payment process is successfully completed, applicants are allowed to include their preferred choices in their list through the online CEAP Counseling portal. A choice represents a specific branch in a college.
• The order of preference signifies the applicant's prioritization of choices for allotment, ranging from the most preferred (Choice number 1) to the least preferred. 
• In case Choice number 1 cannot be allotted based on the merit list, subsequent choices (Choice 2, 3, and so on) will be considered for allotment. 
• The online counseling portal facilitates the addition of choices to the preference list, maintaining the order of preference. 
• It is advised that applicants prepare their choices in advance and include as many choices as possible, following the order of preference.
• Allotment of seats will be determined by the applicant's inter-se merit and the order of choices submitted.

How to Lock Choice & Preferences for Anna University CEAP Counselling 2023

• After adding choices, it is crucial for the applicant to lock them within the specified time mentioned in the schedule provided for the CEAP counseling process. The schedule published for counseling indicates the deadline for locking choices.

• Applicants should carefully review their choice list and make any necessary reordering adjustments to ensure that their choices are arranged in the correct order of preference before proceeding to lock them. The online counseling portal supports the rearrangement and modification of an applicant's ordered preference choice list through multiple operations. 

Tentative CEAP Counselling Allotment Based on Merit and Preference

• Once the applicants have locked their choices, the tentative allotment of choices will be made based on the inter-se-merit and the applicants' order of preference. 
• This tentative allotment will be published in each respective applicant's login area according to the provided schedule.

Submission of CEAP Counselling 2023 Allotment Option 

• Following the release of the tentative allotment, the applicant will be required to submit their allotment option. 
• The allotment option is intended to obtain the applicant's decision regarding the tentative allotment. 

Final CEAP Counselling 2023 Allotment

• Once the applicants have submitted their allotment options, the final allotment will be carried out based on the inter-se-merit and the allotment options submitted by the applicants. 
• The details of the final allotment will be published in the respective login areas of the applicants on the online counseling portal. 
• Applicants who have been allotted seats can download the provisional allotment order from their login on the same portal.

Anna University CEAP Counselling 2023: Admission Process and Reporting Deadline 

• After the final allotment is made, the applicant must report to the assigned college for admission on or before the last date specified in the provisional allotment order. 
• It is mandatory to complete all the admission procedures within the given timeframe. 
• Provisionally allotted applicants who fail to complete the admission procedure within the stipulated time will forfeit their provisional allotment.
