New Delhi: Anant National University (AnantU) has launched a certificate programme in global education entrepreneurship and innovation in partnership with the University of Pennsylvania (UPenn). The programme commenced for a duration of three days, from December 6 to December 9, 2022.
As per AnantU, the certificate programme included a week-long boot camp that featured lectures on educational innovation from Penn's graduate schools of education. The curriculum offered vital information, abilities, and resources for starting, advancing, and expanding entrepreneurial practice in education.
A group of 14 students at the AnantU campus received the course from prominent UPenn instructors. The certificate programme was open to leaders in the education sector, school leadership teams, entrepreneurs, researchers, investors, policymakers, and candidates interested in using innovation to address pressing issues in education.
The program's goal is to pave the way for the initiation, acceleration, and expansion of the entrepreneurial practice in the field of education. The participants in the programme received training in tackling real-world issues in areas including navigating the education investment landscape and locating a product-market fit.
Through this program, students received access to a network of global education experts. The immersive week-long programme utilised UPenn's lean start-up curriculum, design thinking, and project-based learning. It included customised in-person and real-time virtual sessions as well as online modules.
