Anant National University has opened 2026 admissions, announcing ADEPT exam dates, eligibility, fees, and selection details.

Anant National University Announces ADEPT 2026 for BDes Admissions

Anant National University (ANU) has officially opened admissions for the 2026 academic session across its undergraduate programmes, including Bachelor of Design (B.Des). The university will conduct the Anant Design Entrance and Proficiency Test (ADEPT 2026) on January 4, 2026, for B.Des aspirants.

Eligible candidates can submit their applications online until January 1, 2026. Admissions are based on entrance exam performance, followed by further evaluation rounds as per university norms.

The ADEPT 2026 entrance exam will be held in computer-based test (CBT) mode with a duration of 90 minutes by Anant National University. The exam will be conducted in 10 languages, including English, Hindi, Gujarati, Marathi, Bengali, Kannada, Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam, and Punjabi, ensuring wider accessibility for students across India.

ADEPT 2026 Exam Pattern and Application Fee

The entrance test will consist of 100 multiple-choice questions (MCQs) divided into three sections:

  • General Knowledge and Current Affairs
  • Logical Reasoning and Analytical Ability
  • Design Aptitude

Candidates applying for ADEPT 2026 must pay an application fee of ₹1,500. The university offers a total of 600 seats for the Bachelor of Design programme.

To apply for the B.Des programme, candidates must have passed Class 12 or an equivalent examination from any stream, science, commerce, or arts/humanities, with a minimum of 50% aggregate marks. There is no restriction on subject background, making the programme open to students from diverse academic fields.

Selection will be based on candidates’ performance in ADEPT 2026 or a valid UCEED score, followed by a situation test, portfolio evaluation, and personal interaction (PI).

Based on overall performance, the university will issue provisional admission offers or waitlist notifications. ANU also considers candidates with a UCEED All India Rank (AIR) up to 2500 for merit-based scholarships.
