Amrita University BTech Admission 2025 Eligibility Criteria

Candidates seeking admission to B.Tech programs must fulfill the following requirements:

• Age: Candidates whose date of birth falls on or after July 1, 2003, up to June 30, 2009.
• Educational Qualification:
  • A pass in 10 + 2 or its equivalent examination with a minimum aggregate of 60% marks in Mathematics, Physics, and Chemistry.
  • Minimum 55% marks in each of the three subjects, ie, Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics.
  • Candidates passing out in 2025 and already passed out in 2024 can also apply.
• Examination Qualification: Candidates must have appeared in either JEE Mains 2025 or AEEE 2025.

Amrita University BTech Admission 2025 Selection Process

According to the eligibility and performance in the entrance exam, candidates will be offered admission to B.Tech programs through a Centralised Seat Allotment Process (CSAP).

AEEE 2025 will be conducted in two phases, ie, January and April 2025. Candidates can attend the exam in January and/or April. The best percentile score will be taken to rank the candidates attending both phases.

Additionally, the university will offer admission based on the percentile secured in JEE Mains 2025. 70% of the seats in each branch are open to applicants appearing in AEEE 2025. The rest of the 30% seats are reserved for candidates who will receive a good percentile in one of the sessions of JEE Mains 2025.

Amrita University AEEE 2025 Exam Pattern

• Duration of the exam: 150 minutes (2.5 hours)
• Mode of exam: Computer Based Test (CBT)
• Subjects: Mathematics (40 questions), Physics (30 questions), Chemistry (25 questions), and English (5 questions)
• Marks: 3 marks for each correct answer and -1 (negative marking) for each wrong answer.

The examination questions will be based on the syllabus of Class 11 & Class 12. Candidates can check the exam syllabus here.

Admissions are open for all 7 engineering campuses of Amrita University, ie, Amravati, Amritapuri, Bangalore, Chennai, Coimbatore, Faridabad, and Nagercoil.
