The Grand Finale of NCIIPC-AICTE Pentathon 2024 was held for 48 hours for finalists. After this, Amity University conducted a Yoga Session after the event to help students de-stress and have a stress-free experience.

Amity University Hosted Grand Finale of NCIIPC AICTE Pentathon 2024

New Delhi: Amity University, Noida successfully hosted India’s First Vulnerability Assessment and Penetration Testing(VAPT) Grand Finale - NCIIPC-AICTE Pentathon 2024. The 48-hour-long Pentathon, held jointly by NCIIPC and AICTE at Amity University, Noida, came to an end on April 04, 2024.

The event recorded participation from over 8000 students in Stage 1 from various technical colleges and universities across India. Out of all the participants, top-performing teams and individuals were awarded prizes as well as recognition for real-world VAPT in the Grand Final. The pentathon was attended by AICTE Chairman Prof. TG Sitharam.

The Grand Finale of NCIIPC-AICTE Pentathon 2024 was held for duration of 48 hours for finalists. Throughout the pentathlon, participants worked as a team to solve real-world cybersecurity challenges by ensuring the protection of critical information infrastructure entities. 

The top team prizes for winners after Stage II are as follows: The 1st Prize is INR 2.5 Lakh, 2nd Prize is INR 1.5 Lakh, and the 3rd Prize is INR 1 Lakh. Individual Prizes for winners after Stage II include: The 1st Prize is INR 1 Lakh, the 2nd Prize is INR 75000, and the 3rd Prize is INR 50000.

Speakers at NCIIPC AICTE Pentathon 2024

Speaking to the participants, Navin Kumar Singh, Director General of NCIIPC, highlighted the importance of the event in preserving the talent of students for Critical Information Infrastructure (CII), which also aligns with the vision of Atmanirbhar Bharat.

After this, Dr Abhay Jere, Vice Chairman shared that Penthathon provides participants with problem-solving abilities as well as helps them learn how to work as a team and solve challenges. The solutions developed by participants will further help businesses and governments and nation growth of our country, he added.

Dr Balvinder Shukla, the Vice Chancellor of Amity University, expressed his gratitude for the successful conclusion of Pentathon 2024. Amity University also conducted a Yoga Session after the event to help students de-stress and have a stress-free experience.
