AILET 2026 registration fee has been revised. Candidates have to pay an application fee of Rs 3000. The application fee for SC/ST candidates and Persons with Disabilities (PwD) is Rs.1000.

• SC/ST and women candidates who are Below Poverty Line (BPL) applicants are exempted from paying the application fee.

NLU Delhi starts the AILET 2026 registration on the official website – nationallawuniversitydelhi.in. First, register online using your name, email ID and, applicant type. Then, use your User ID (email) and password to fill out the application form.

NLU Delhi has activated the AILET 2026 application portal on the official website – nationallawuniversitydelhi.in. The registration is expected to start shortly.

AILET 2026 exam date is now scheduled for December 14, 2025. Initially scheduled for December 7, 2025, it was rescheduled due to a clash with CLAT 2026. The exam will be held in a single shift from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM for admission into Five-Year B.A.LL.B. (Hons.), LL.M., and Ph.D. Program. 

National Law University, Delhi is conducting the All India Law Entrance Test (AILET) 2026 on the official website – nationallawuniversitydelhi.in. 

• The registration process will be conducted from August 7 to November 10, 2025, on the NLU Delhi official website.

AILET 2026 Exam Pattern will follow the same pattern as previous year. It includes three sections a) English Language b) Current Affairs and GK c) Logical Reasoning.

There are no limitations on the number of attempts in AILET 2026. Candidates belonging to any category – General or Reserved – can appear for the exam provided they fulfil academic and age limit criteria.

You can make corrections to the AILET 2026 application form in November 2025, when the correction window will be opened after the completion of the application. The correction window will be open for 3 days, and you must correct within the specified time.

Yes, AILET is generally considered tougher than CLAT. Since AILET is just for NLU Delhi, the level of competition is extremely high for the very few seats. Candidates have to answer 150 questions in 90 minutes for AILET, whereas for CLAT, you have to answer 120 questions in 120 minutes. 

• AILET has more conventional question patterns, while CLAT is comprehension-based.

• AILET rewards accuracy and precision, while CLAT requires speed and reading ability.

Yes, you can appear for the AILET 2026 exam as there is no limit to the number of attempts in the AILET exam. If you fulfil the eligibility criteria then you can register for the exam. • Enter your Username/Email ID to Reset Password.
• You will receive a reset link or OTP to set a new password.

National Law University, Delhi is scheduled to conduct the AILET 2026 on Sunday, December 14, 2025. The exam timing is from 2 PM to 4 PM. 

The AILET 2026 registration fee is Rs Rs.3,000/-(Rupees Three Thousand Five Hundred Only). The application fee for SC/ST/PWD candidates is Rs.1,000/-(Rupees One Thousand Five Hundred Only). Below Poverty Line (BPL) applicants of the SC/ST category are exempted from the application fee.

AILET 2026 registration last date is November 10, 2025. Candidates can start filling out the registration form from August 7, 2025 onwards on the official website –  nationallawuniversitydelhi.in. NLU Delhi may decide to extend the registration deadline depending on the circumstances.
