The National Law University Delhi has officially declared the results for the All India Law Entrance Test (AILET) 2025, held on December 8, 2024, for admission to various law programs including the B.A.LL.B.(Hons.), LL.M./LL.M. (IPR), M.A. in Intellectual Property (IP), and Ph.D. programs. Evaluation Criteria for Admission
The merit list for the Joint Master’s in LL.M/MA. (IP Law and Management) is based on the following weightages:

Candidates must attend both the interview and group discussion to be considered for ranking. Those attending only one of the components will not be ranked for the program.
Rank List and Merit List Details
The rank list for the Joint Master’s in LL.M/MA. (IP Law and Management) will be prepared considering the above weightages, with rankings denoted as Round-1-IPR-1, Round-1-IPR-2, etc. For M.A. in IP Law and Management, rankings will be denoted as Round-MA-1, Round-MA-2, and so on.
Program Switching and Fee Adjustment
If a candidate is provisionally admitted to the LL.M. program but later qualifies for the Joint Master’s in LL.M. (IPR), they may opt to switch programs. Similarly, candidates admitted to the IPR program can switch to the general LL.M. program. The provisional fee paid for the initial program will be adjusted toward the fee for the new program, with any remaining balance paid separately.

Program Switching Details
- Candidates provisionally admitted to the LL.M. program can switch to the Joint Master’s in LL.M. (IPR), and vice versa, subject to availability.
- Fees paid for one program will be adjusted toward the fee for the other program, with any balance due to be paid separately.
- Candidates must withdraw their admission from the earlier program before switching.
This process ensures that candidates are assessed thoroughly and have the opportunity to switch between programs based on merit. Candidates are advised to check their AILET scorecards and prepare for the next stages of the admission process.
