All India Institute of Speech and Hearing (AIISH), Mysore, has announced admissions for the 2025-26 academic session. AIISH offers undergraduate, postgraduate, and PG Diploma programs in Audiology, and Speech-Language Pathology and Special Education (Hearing Impairment).

AIISH UG/PG Admission Eligibility Criteria 2025

The Eligibility Criteria for each courses is given below.

B.ASLP Eligibility Criteria

• Candidates must have passed the 2-year Pre-University (PUC) examination from the Karnataka State Board or any equivalent 10+2 examination recognized by the University of Mysore.
• A minimum of 50% marks (45% for SC/ST) in PCMB or related subject combinations in the qualifying exam is required.
• At least three subjects among Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Mathematics, Computer Science, Statistics, Electronics, or Psychology studied by the applicant.

B.Ed. Spl. Ed. (HI) Eligibility Criteria

• Candidates must possess a Bachelor's degree from the University of Mysore or any equivalent recognized institution.
• The minimum qualification for admission is 50% marks in the Bachelor of Sciences, Social Sciences, or Humanities; or 55% marks in their Engineering/Technology (Science & Mathematics specialization) degree.
• 5% relaxation in marks for SC/ST/PWD candidates.

Eligibility for M.Sc. (Speech & Hearing)

• Candidates must have a B.ASLP / B.Sc. (Speech & Hearing) from the University of Mysore or any equivalent recognized institution.
• It is required to score a minimum of 55% aggregate marks or equivalent CGPA in the qualifying exam (5% relaxation for SC/ST/PWD).
• The degree must be RCI approved, except in Institutes of National Importance and Foreign programs.
• For every year beyond the usual duration needed for completing the degree, 3% of the mark will be deducted in accordance with the University of Mysore guidelines.

Entry Requirements for M.Ed. Spl. Ed. (HI)

• The applicant must hold a B.Ed. Spl. Ed. (HI) degree from the University of Mysore or any RCI-recognized university with a minimum of 50% aggregate marks.
• Those who hold a B.Ed. (General) plus a Diploma in Special Education (HI) (RCI approved) with both programs having a minimum of 50% are also eligible.
• Graduates of BA/B.Sc./B.Com. B.Ed. Spl. Ed. (HI) (4-year integrated course) are writable.
• RCI Registration is a prerequisite during admission.

• Transfer, Character, and Conduct Certificate
