AIIMS New Delhi has postponed the MSc Nursing 2026 online seat allocation schedule. The notice was issued on July 25, 2026, and the Round 1 seat allotment result, reporting dates, and subsequent counselling schedule will be out at aiimsexams.ac.in.

The All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) New Delhi has postponed the Master of Science (MSc) Nursing 2026 counselling. AIIMS released the postponement notice on July 25, 2026. The changes apply to admission for the August 2026 session.
The first round seat allocation result will now be announced soon. The dates for online acceptance and reporting have been postponed. Candidates must wait for AIIMS to announce the revised schedule on the official website.
The choice filling window closed on July 18, 2026. AIIMS will not allow fresh choices in Round 2. The preferences submitted during the first round will apply automatically in the second round. Candidates allotted seats in Round 1 must pay the prescribed security deposit.
They must also submit the required documents at the allotted institute. Failure to complete these steps will result in forfeiture of the allotted seat.

Reporting Hours at the Allotted Institute
Candidates must report during the specified working hours only. Reporting will remain open from Monday to Friday until 4:00 PM. On Saturdays, reporting will close at 12:00 noon. Late reporting may lead to the loss of the allotted seat.

How to Check the AIIMS MSc Nursing 2026 Seat Allotment Result Once Out?
Follow the steps below to check your seat allotment status on the official portal:
- Visit the official AIIMS portal at aiimsexams.ac.in.
- Click on the MSc Nursing 2026 counselling section.
- Log in using your registration ID and password.
- View the seat allotment status on your dashboard.
- Download and save the allotment letter for future reference.

What Documents Should Candidates Carry for Reporting?
Candidates must carry the original documents along with self-attested copies. The required documents include the MSc Nursing entrance rank card and admit card. A category certificate and PwBD certificate are required wherever applicable. Candidates must also carry a valid photo ID proof and recent passport-size photographs.
AIIMS first postponed the round 1 seat allotment citing administrative reasons. The institute has now confirmed a fresh timeline for both counselling rounds. Candidates get a clear window to plan travel and joining formalities on time.
