Amrita University Begins AEEE 2026 Registration for B.Tech Admissions; Apply by January 15

Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham has started the registration process for the Amrita Entrance Examination – Engineering (AEEE) 2026. The exam serves as the gateway for admission to the university’s B.Tech programmes offered at its campuses in Amritapuri, Bengaluru, Coimbatore, Chennai, and Amaravati. Interested candidates can apply online through the official website before the last date, January 15, 2026.

According to the official schedule, AEEE 2026 will be conducted in two phases. Phase 1 is scheduled to take place from January 29 to February 1, 2026, while Phase 2 will be held from April 25 to April 30, 2026. Candidates are required to book their exam slots in advance, with slot booking for Phase 1 beginning on January 10, 2026.

The exam will be held in an online mode across multiple centres in India. It will assess students’ knowledge in Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics, similar to other national-level engineering entrance exams. Candidates who qualify for AEEE 2026 will be eligible to participate in the centralised counselling process scheduled for May 2026, where seat allotments will be based on exam scores, preferences, and category reservations.

Applicants must ensure that they meet the eligibility criteria before applying. Students currently in Class 12 or those who have passed the exam with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics as core subjects are eligible to apply.

Amrita University also accepts JEE Main scores for B.Tech admissions. However, students are encouraged to appear for AEEE to increase their chances of securing a seat across the university’s campuses.

• Register using your name, a valid email ID and mobile number. Set a password and log in using the credentials.
• Fill in personal information such as name, contact details, address and parents’ details.
• Upload your photograph and signature.
• Enter the application details such as choice of exam city (3 choices), program choice, and exam mode (AEEE/ JEE Main/ SAT/ UPEE).
• Pay the AEEE 2026 Application Fee.
• After successful payment of the registration fee, you can download your AEEE 2026 application form.
• Academic Details need to be entered once the Class 12th result has been announced. Make sure to enter the correct marks obtained and upload the required documents, such as your mark sheet and AEEE/ JEE Main/ SAT/ PUEE score card.
